Who We Are

Help Empower Kenya (HEK) is a charitable grassroots organization committed to empowering marginalized communities and individuals in rural and underserved areas of Kenya. Founded in 2015, HEK was established with the belief that lasting change begins when people are given the tools, opportunities, and support to transform their lives.
Our mission is to promote dignity, inclusion, and self-reliance by implementing community-based programs that improve livelihoods, expand access to education, and enhance the well-being of vulnerable groups, especially women and girls, youth, and small-scale farmers. We work closely with local communities to design and implement practical, innovative solutions that directly respond to their needs. From supporting school dropouts with second-chance education and life skills to training smallholder farmers in climate-smart agriculture and entrepreneurship, our projects are rooted in sustainability and social impact.
Whether it's through digital marketing training, rabbit farming initiatives, or empowering young mothers with vocational skills, our focus remains the same: creating pathways to better futures by unlocking the potential of every individual we serve.
